MHBC Events Spring 2010 Installation Day Our 6th annual installation day was held on May 1. This year we focused on requeening several hives and installing a number of nucleus colonies (nucs). Annual Winter Meeting Our 5th annual winter meeting was held on: February 20, 2010 Where Paula Breymeyer's house: Agenda 1:00 - 1:30 General Coop business meeting. 1:30 - 2:00 Marygael Meister will discuss her experience as president and founder of the Denver Beekeepers Association and the importance and relevance of beekeeping clubs. 2:00 - 4:00 Pot Luck and Discussions. 4:00 - 5:00 In response to coop members' concerns about American Foul Brood disease, we may check brood frames (if you bring with them to the meeting) for suspected American Foulbrood scales (with a black light). Interested in Becoming a Co-op Member? This will be the 5th annual winter meeting of the MHBC. Anyone interested in the coop is warmly encouraged to attend this meeting.
