2013 Annual Winter Meeting/Meet-Up

When: Saturday January 26th, 2013

Where: Boulder County Extension Classroom (lower level) 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont, CO 80501

Time: Morning Session / Presentations 9:00 a.m. until about 12:30 p.m.

Luncheon @ the Country Buffet (buy your own lunch @ group rate) about 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Business Meeting (for MHBC members and interested public) 1:30 until finished (3-ish?).

There will be a raffle & door prizes for dues paying members.

Speakers: Mr. John Scott, Colorado Dapartment of Agriculture, Pesticides Program Manager -

Speaking on the recently established Driftwatch Program for Colorado http://colorado.agriculture.purdue.edu:80/index.html and about the activities of the Colorado Pollinator Workgroup .

Allen "Al' Summers, Director MHBC -

Speaking on Beekeeping in Japan..history and comparative practices to the U.S. Fees: Free & Open to the general beekeeping public (advance confirmation requested due to limited meeting space).

The meeting will be held in the lower classroom of the CSU Extension Office for Boulder County (adjacent to the Boulder County Fair Grounds) 9595 Nelson Road Longmont, CO 80501.
