Annual Winter Meeting

Our 8th annual winter meeting is scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until around Noon. We will have our business meeting after lunch, which will be at a nearby restaurant.

The morning meeting will feature Dr. Whitney Cranshaw, State Entomologist at CSU in Fort Collins. He will be speaking on Integrated Pest Management [IPM] practices relating to insect control and how those may or may not affect honey bees.

This year's meeting will be held in the lower classroom of the CSU Extension Office for Boulder County (adjacent to the Boulder County Fair Grounds) 9595 Nelson Road Longmont, CO 80501.

This meeting is open to the general beekeeping public, but because seating is limited, we ask the you contact either us (see contact page) or Sharon Bokan (303) 678-6238 at the Extension Office to see if space is still available.

Annual Spring Installation Day

Our 7th annual Spring installation day was held on April 23, 2011. Coop members worked together to install nucs and packages, and to collaborate on Spring hive inspections. Check out pictures in the Photo Gallery.
